Rovinj - in october hit 3 milion overnight stays

After many years, on 7 October 2011 Rovinj hit three million overnight stays. After 25 years, when the circumstances were different and the quality of accommodation, finaly was crossed this magical number. Director of the Tourist Board Odete Sapač, pointed that Rovinj is achieved 16 percent increase in arrivals and 13 percent more nights.
The greatest increase in overnight stays are in hotels, then in private houses and camps. The Port Authority has a 303 entry made for the arrival of a third larger megayachts. Maistra the new record, accounted for 1.7 million overnight stays with an increase of 14 percent, while Valalta for over 500 000 overnight stays grew by 7 percent.
Most, third overnight, made the guests from Germany, followed by those from Austria, Italy, the Netherlands and the Croatian, who had the largest increase.
